Manly woman wins claim for Workplace Bullying

Workers Compensation Client with an open Personal Injury Damages Claim

Another successful claim for psychological injuries has been won by Steve Walker and his team.

Our client, a local Manly resident, was the Marketing Manager for a well-known wealth management company.  During her relatively short 5-month employment with the firm, she suffered workplace bullying and harassment.

Regularly working 12 hour days, she was overworked and received no support from management when she raised concerns.

She now suffers from psychological injuries as a result of the bullying.

She received 22% WPI for her injuries which gives her weekly benefits until retirement age and lifetime medical expenses from the insurer.

WPI or Whole Person Impairment is used to evaluate the rate of the injury. The rate of the WPI is used to determine the level of compensation for the injured person.

Ms A is also above the 15% WPI threshold which means we will be able to lodge a further Common Law Damages claim which we will also represent her in.

Thank you and Steve for all of your support with this matter. I have appreciated your patience and kindness more than you probably both realise.

“When I first met Steve Walker and his team, I was very nervous and had no idea what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their kind patience and understanding of my situation. Not only were they clearly experienced in their field of expertise but they’d listen and give me advice that helped at every step of the way. They are efficient and thorough but most importantly human. I would not hesitate to work with Steve, Olivia, and the team again as I now consider them ‘the best’, at what they do. They always put their client’s wellbeing first.”
