‍

What does it mean to be an Accredited Specialist?

An Accredited Specialist is a solicitor recognised by the Law Society of NSW as having specialised skill in a particular area of law. To apply, a solicitor must have practised full time for at least five years. They must also have spent at least 25% of their practice in their specialist area in each of the three years before applying. They then pass assessments covering their area of law and practical skills such as communication, problem solving and client relations. To keep the title, they complete extra professional development every year. Learn more about the Law Society's Specialist Accreditation program.

Kushal is a partner at Walker Law Group and manages the Parramatta office. ‍

Why this matters if you have been injured

Personal injury claims in NSW run under strict rules, deadlines and medical assessment processes. An Accredited Specialist has been independently tested on that knowledge. For clients, it means advice from a lawyer whose expertise has been checked by his peers, not just claimed. Kushal works across our motor vehicle accident and workers compensation teams.

We congratulate Kushal again on this well-deserved accomplishment. To speak with Kushal about your claim, call 02 8046 9700 or contact our Parramatta office.
